Born on August 25, 1983, Teresa is the second child of Gregg and Janice Church. She attended Julia Brown Montessori School for nursery school, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten, then Cloverly Elementary School for grades 1-5.  While at Cloverly, Teresa took tap and ballet for three years.  During second grade, Teresa started many activities.  She began to take piano lessons, started playing soccer, and joined a girl scout troop.  She is still playing both piano and soccer, and has received many awards in both.  While still in elementary school, Teresa played softball and basketball, and continued to do so during middle school.  After going to Briggs Chaney Middle School for grades 6-8, and playing on the first Briggs Chaney interscholastic softball team ever, Teresa switched to a private high school, Glenelg Country School, in Howard County, Maryland.

In ninth grade, and her first year at Glenelg, Teresa played on the Junior Varsity Field Hockey team as a midfielder, playing field hockey for the first time, and on the Varsity Soccer team as goalie.  She also became certified in First Aid and CPR through a required class, Active Citizenship Training 9.  In tenth grade, Teresa played her second season of field hockey, and played Varsity goalie and Junior Varsity midfielder.  She earned her first fall sport Varsity letter this past season, with 50 saves and 12 goals.  She played soccer, a winter sport at Glenelg, as a reluctant goalie. She received the Coach's Award for her efforts, and played in the AIS All-Star game. As a junior, she played field hockey (League Champions) and soccer again, and played lacrosse for the first time (Most Improved Award). She was named a National Merit Commended Scholar. Her senior year, she became Senior Editor of her high school yearbook. She continued all three sports, field hockey (League Champions, Division Champions, Co-Captain, Coach's Award), soccer (Division Champions, Captain, Coach's Award, Dragon Award), and lacrosse (Coach's Award). She was also inducted into the National Honor Society. At her final Award Ceremony, she was named the recipient of the Senior Award for Distinction in Mathematics and the Senior Award for Distinction in Technology. She was also awarded the Athletic Leadership and Community Contribution awards.

Her favorite subjects are English and History, but her best subject is Math.  She belonged to the ACES (Americans for the Competitive Enterprise System) Academy for Students, an extra-curricular program teaching students about the business world.

Her hobbies include the love of computers, writing short stories, and reading.  Her favorite genres are science fiction and fantasy, although she also enjoys others.

She has worked for her father, either directly or indirectly, for many years. Her sister, brother, and she started a cleaning company, which lasted approximately three years for Teresa.  Also, during the summer, she worked for GEJAC, Inc., in an entry-level job. Currently, she is working for her father's LibertyStone, Inc., a company that designs web pages, GIS Integrated Solutions, a digital mapping company, and HealthRaiser, a healthy fundraising company.
